Example of Descriptive Text "Landslide"

LANDSLIDES
A landslide is the movement of material slope forming a rock, materials debris, soil, or a mixture of materials is, move down or out slopes.
Cause of the landslides can be divided into two factors, namely : the natural factors and the human factors.
1.       Natural Factors
Natural factors are factors causing landslides caused by nature itself as a result of activities of nature such as :
a.    Long dry season
b.    weathered rock
c.    High rainfall
d.    Erosion, and others.
a.  Long dry season
The dray season is a pair of rainy season in the region of bi season. The long drought season is season very hot with drought-term a long time

b.   Weathered rock
A weathered rock is a process of rock destruction caused by water, temperature, and wind.
c.   High Rainfall
High rainfall is the total rain water that falls to the ground in a given time ranged between 2000-3000 mm on the year.

d.  Erosion
Erosion is the annihilation events solids (sediment, soil rock, and particle others) as a result of wind, transport, water or ice.

The occurrence of landslides by the natural factors can described as follows :
·         First, the long dry season came and causes the evaporation of water in the soil surface in large numbers, resulting in the appearance of pores or cavities in the soil, which resulted in cracks and surface cracks.
·         And then, at the time it rained water seeped into the soil will add weight to the ground.
·         Finally the water penetrates the soil watertight that serves as the field slip, the ground becomes slippery and soil weathering on it will move to follow slope and exit slopes.

2.       The Human Factors
a.    Deforestation
b.    Mining wild
c.    Cutting vegetation on the slopes
d.    Residential areas on the slopes, and others
a.  Deforestation
In a relatively barren area also frequent  landslides because binding of ground water is very less.

b.   Mining Wild
Illegal mining can damage the environment    and can be form steep slopes or holes. The slopes so let usually granted so landslides can occur.

c.   Cutting vegetation on the slopes
Cutting vegetation on the slopes can be causing landslides because the water contained in the soil can not be tied without vegetation.

d.  Residential areas on the slopes
The existence additional load will increase the force drives of erosion. As a result common land subsidence and cracks to direction of the valley.

The occurrence of landslides by the human factors can described as follows :
Used illegal mining and residential areas on the slopes of causing damage to soil and vegetation occur because of deforestation then converted to residential land becomes barren and can form steep slopes or holes.
·         When the bulk high rainfall the soil becomes unstable and experienced erosion.
·         Mass load is becoming increasingly more land and increase the driving force landslide.
·         Because the does not happen vegetation and occur deforestation, it cause the soil can not bind water and landslides occurred.
